Step-by-step guides

Menus may vary slightly by version.

iPhone / iPad (Apple Mail)

  1. Tap Download profile (above) or use the QR.
  2. On iPhone: SettingsProfile Downloaded.
  3. Tap Install and confirm.
  4. When asked, enter your mailbox password.
  5. Open Mail: the account is ready.
If you prefer manual setup: use the Server settings on the right.

Android (Gmail)

  1. Open Gmail → Menu → SettingsAdd account.
  2. Choose Other (not “Exchange”).
  3. Enter your email and choose IMAP.
  4. Incoming IMAP: correo.6am.es · Port 993 · Security SSL.
  5. Outgoing SMTP: correo.6am.es · Port 587 · Security STARTTLS.
  6. Enable SMTP authentication and use the same username/password.
If Gmail insists on “Exchange”, go back and select “Other” → IMAP.

Outlook mobile

  1. Outlook → Add account.
  2. Enter your email → Continue.
  3. If you see “Exchange/Microsoft 365”, choose Manual setupIMAP.
  4. IMAP: correo.6am.es · Port 993 · SSL.
  5. SMTP: correo.6am.es · Port 587 · STARTTLS.
  6. SMTP auth: Yes (same username/password).

Outlook Windows

  1. Outlook → SettingsAccountsAdd account.
  2. Select Advanced setup / IMAP.
  3. IMAP: correo.6am.es · Port 993 · SSL.
  4. SMTP: correo.6am.es · Port 587 · STARTTLS.
  5. Outgoing server requires authentication: enabled.
If Outlook suggests “Exchange/Office 365”, cancel and pick IMAP.

Thunderbird

  1. Thunderbird → Add account → enter name, email and password.
  2. If it auto-configures, you are done.
  3. If not: click Manual config and use the IMAP/SMTP values.

Common issues

Before calling support, check:

① Username = full email address (not just the name).
② You selected IMAP (not Exchange / Microsoft 365).
③ SMTP authentication is enabled (same username and password).
④ If you are on a corporate network/VPN, try another Wi‑Fi or mobile data.
